This woman had sex in her boyfriends car. Her boyfriend did not tell her that he had the HPV virus. Apparently 80% of sexually active adults have this. She got it from him.
She sued GEICO because all of this happened in the guys car. The article does not say that she got cancer from it,
So she and her boyfriend have irresponsible sex. She gets a disease with practically no consequences to it, no suffering involved that I can tell from what I have read. She gets a pile of money from an insurance policy designed for drivers, when no driving was involved.
GEICO did NOT want to cover this. And they are appealing the ruling. I can see updates of policies coming fast.
