These are very useful leaves, and you don’t have to rake them.
The idea is to duplicate to whatever extent possible the process of photosynthesis, which plants use to break down CO2 and produce Oxygen.
The device has a solar cell in it and a catalyst. It sits on the water and makes fuel, either hydrogen gas from the water or syngas by combining water and CO2.
Seems to produce it right in the sealed plastic bag, not sure how you get it out from there. But I’m sure they have thought of something??
But this is easily deployable, it does use much space that humans want to use (i.e. it can be deployed over lakes and swams).
