This is state of the art. Mojo Vision has designed a contact lens, yes, you put it into your eye. The system tracks eye movements, it has a resolution of 14,000 pixels per inch. And the battery is along the outer edge of the lens.
You can add stuff to your vision, like compass headings, display your vital signs as you exercise and a lot more.
They initially demonstrated this in 2020, but it was a much lesser version.
But with these lenses in your eye, maybe you start to look like a Borg.
