West Point’s alumni association pulled the plug on his Sylvanus Thayer Award ceremony faster than you can say “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get!” Apparently, honoring the “Saving Private Ryan” star for his “Duty, Honor, Country” vibes got a bit too controversial. Maybe they’re just mad he didn’t salute his MAGA hat-wearing SNL character properly. Whatever the reason, this cancellation is a plot twist even M. Night Shyamalan couldn’t dream up!
