American Idol’s Clay Aiken Running for Congress

Remember about 20 years ago, a really weird skinny guy won a singing contest called American Idol? Yes, that is Clay Aiken. Excellent singer, but somehow he now thinks that he is qualified for bigger things.

Aiken will be running for Congress in North Carolina. Apparently he did this before and lost. And, of course, he is a Democrat, probably a “woke” Democrat.

But on the bright side, his renditions of the National Anthem, and God Bless America and all of those good songs will be much better in Washington DC.
