A new study from Penn State suggests that microplastics could change the way rain forms, potentially leading to fewer but more intense rainstorms. Imagine those tiny bits of plastic deciding when it rains and when it doesn’t! It’s a plastic-wrapped weather system up there, and the forecast isn’t looking sunny.
