I’d heard many times that Samuel L. Jackson has been in more movies than any other actor, with 174 movies. But its not true. The winner in this category is Eric Roberts at 455 movies! Eric is the brother of Julia Roberts, and has been in a boatload of “B” movies. He is not nearly as famous.
Samuel Jackson may be closer to winning in the number of starring roles or in box totals. He is competing with the likes of Danny Glover with 219 movies, Christopher Lee with 211, Jackie Chan with 190 and Micky Rooney with 190 movies.
