SpaceX just had another “oopsie” in orbit, where a Starlink satellite politely decided to turn itself into a glitter bomb of space junk at 350 miles up. While the company calls it an “anomaly,” trackers counted tens of new objects doing their best impression of a fireworks show that nobody paid for. At this rate, Elon’s constellation is less “global internet” and more “orbital confetti cannon” — and the cleanup bill is on the house (or rather, burning up in our atmosphere).
