But Sharon Osbourne thinks the audience deserves a break from the endless commentary. During a chat with her son Jack on “The Osbournes Podcast,” the former “X Factor UK” judge suggested that maybe — just maybe — award shows should stick to celebrating music and movies instead of becoming a televised town hall. After all, when millions of people tune in hoping for a little entertainment, they might not be in the mood for a civics lecture between commercial breaks.
