Two months ago this guy Sam Bankman-Fried was one of the richest guys in the world, at over $30 Billion. He donated $40 million to the Democratic Party to influence elections (asshole…).
But his corporation FTX was a shambles, piss poor accounting, screwed up chaotic management. And nobody knew it. He was transferring money out, trying to fund other parts of his business. He claimed to own businesses that he didn’t own.
When people started to without their money, they found that their money was not there.
Now, this poor guy says he is down to his last $100,000.
There will be investigations. In my opinion he was fraudulent and should go to jail. There will be investigations.
