The EU doesn’t guarantee free speech. It seems they don’t really give a crap.

When he completed his purchase of Twitter, Elon Musk tweeted, “the bird is freed,” implying that the censorship policy of the liberal, woke predecessors would go away.

Then the European Union’s internet market commissioner Thierry Breton said, “In Europe, the bird will fly by our [EU flag emoji] rules.”

First, this nasty woman should be fired.

In Europe they have passed, The Digital Services Act (DSA), a new set of rules for social media and ecommerce companies that was recently passed and will come into effect next year. It aims at making internet businesses liable for societal risks like hate speech. In other words, anything the EU leaders don’t like must be censored.

This is as bad or worse than the situation we had in the U.S. with Twitter, and that we still have with Amazon, Google and Facebook.

Not sure when we will get over it.
