This is a monologue about making his monologue. Apparently, to create the 10-12 jokes that appear in Seth’s monologue, there are over a hundred generated.
Some of those jokes, are really not up to snuff. Some are too dirty. Some are downright confusing.
And of course, Seth is showing who on his writing staff wrote each of these awful jokes (apparently they never watch the show anyway…).
