I’m not sure this is a good measure of herd mentality, but it is interesting and funny.
I see where someone with a weak will might be confused in such an experiment, but I would probably say something like, “You guys are facing the wrong way”, or “I’m being a maverick today.”
And by the way, you may notice that people tend to move to balance it out. Happens every time.
