Yes, more dirt on Harvey Weinstein who is currently serving 23 years for felony sex crimes.
Now he is being charged with two counts of “indecent assault” in the UK against woman in August 1996.
We don’t know who the woman is, except she is now in her 50s. And no one knows when this will come to trial, since he is not actually able to travel right now (being in jail and everything…).
This comes shortly after an appeals court upheld his current convictions. His legal team appealed on the grounds that it was not a fair trial given the publicity and biases of the judge and jury. He was probably right about the bias – doesn’t mean he wasn’t guilty though.
