This is a weird story.
In 1518, there was a “dance plague” in the French city of Strasbourg. They apparently danced uncontrollably for days until they fell over dead.
This is a whole big huge story, and fascinating. Apparently there is a word for it, “choreomania.” Also there were many episodes of dance mania, uncontrolled and threatening dancing.
