OK guys, this is stretching it, but I’m thinking it is true (even though I’m a bit advanced, having done calculus in high school…).
But yes, those advanced math skills are really great in college, especially if you are an engineering major.
But you know what? I never used a great many of those math techniques since then. Sometimes you need to know something is possible, to know that it really isn’t any better than the engineering approximations that other guys have figured out.
So do it the easy way!
And now I am a freakin’ expert in Excel. I can do iterating formulas, word searches, all KINDS of crap – now that I am old.
