In what can only be described as the world’s most expensive driving lesson, a trainee bus driver in Paris decided that parallel parking was too mainstream and opted for a dramatic splash landing in the River Seine instead. The bus, complete with instructor and passengers, took an unplanned detour through a barrier and straight into the water. Miraculously, everyone emerged safe, dry-ish, and probably rethinking their career choices in public transport.
