A 19-year-old “security researcher” told Bloomberg about a number security holes in the Tesla software that allows him to control features of the Tesla, like starting it, flashing the headlights, lock and unlock the doors.
He told Bloomberg, he can’t interfere with the person driving the vehicle. But…
If you read his tweets (images pasted below), I would think that some of that could very easily cause a driver to lose control, not to mentioned spy on him remotely. Imagine driving down the highway and having your stereo blast, your windows start going up and down, and all kinds of things flashing on your vehicle.
Scary stuff.
