You can travel from Faro, Portugal to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam a 10 day trip of 7070 miles, by train. That is a long way, and goes through Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Russia and China.
One source says a ticket is about $700. Another source seems to want you to buy a lot of connecting segments.
