Move over Shetland ponies, there’s a new king of the miniature equine world and his name is Pumuckel – a German therapy horse so tiny he makes regular horses look like they’ve been hitting the protein shakes hard. At just 21.1 inches tall (that’s shorter than most toddlers), this little legend visits nursing homes and schools spreading joy, cuddles, and the occasional existential crisis in full-size horses who suddenly feel like clumsy giants. Owner Carola adopted him expecting a small horse and got what can only be described as a hoofed house cat with a superiority complex.
