After nearly 7,000 homes burned down in the Palisades fire, Los Angeles has heroically managed to approve a grand total of… four permits to rebuild. At this rate, the city should be fully restored somewhere around the year 3125. Maybe they’re just making sure homeowners really, really want to come back before handing out the paperwork.
