In a world where robots loom and technology dominates, the focus has shifted from overtaking humanity to… wait for it… entertaining pets! Move over, Siri, because there’s a new gadget in town: the world’s first television remote designed for dogs! Yes, your furry friend can now bark ‘Goodbye Euro 2016, hello Love Island!’ with the push of a paw.

This canine-compatible contraption is a brainchild born from the collaboration of Illyena Hirsky-Douglas, the genius behind Animal Computer Design, and the pet food brand Wagg. Dan Reeves from Wagg shared, “We’ve created this to keep our furry pals entertained and assure owners that their pups are in good paws while they pop out or cook.”

Crafted with extra-large buttons and a blue-yellow color scheme for our colorblind companions, this remote empowers dogs to switch channels solo. Apparently, our four-legged friends are binge-watching TV at an average of nine hours a week—move over, Netflix, Fido’s got the remote now!

And hold your kibble! The launch of ‘Dogglebox,’ a YouTube spoof starring dogs in a parody of ‘Gogglebox,’ accompanies this innovative remote. It’s the bark-alicious future we never knew we needed!
