The government of Iran has executed a man by hanging him from a crane as a warning to protesters. This man allegedly stabbed two members of Iran’s paramilitary in his own protest of the killing of protesters.
So far this year, Iran has killed almost 500 protesters according to reports.
The pictures attached here are not of the hanging described herein. Apparently hangings are a common spectacle in Iran.
This is gruesome, like something of out medieval times. Public punishments are in a lot of cases a warning to criminals, and thus a public service.
In this case however, it could very be a declaration of war.
