No jets in this puppy! It is the fastest piston powered car at 480 mph. (I guess that is the modern record, the chevy station wagon I had as a teen would go way faster than that…).
We continue to advance the art, not really a lot of use for at car that fast (old ladies will still do 40 on the highway). But the advances in technology are very often put into the latest consumer cars.
I would like to drive one, but it is too long for the parking space in my condo complex…
