A sad day for England, Queen Elizabeth has passed away at age 96. She ruled for just over 70 years.
“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow,” the royal family announced in a statement posted on its official Twitter account. The King, as of now is, the former Prince Charles, now King Charles.
I would love to have met here when she was young. She was quite fetching.
