Florida did already, now Texas follows suit. ESG stand for Environmental, Social, and Governance, it is codeword for “if you don’t follow woke guidelines we will not invest in your company.”
For Texas (and Florida) it means these guys will pass up legitimate opportunities for investment if the company does anything related to fossil fuels. That means investment returns will be lower. Texas doesn’t like that and is banning these asshole.
