Tim Draper, a billionaire who made his money by early investments in Hotmail, Skype, Baidu, Tesla and SpaceX, believes that Bitcoin will reach $250,000 by the end of 2022 or early 2023.
This is quite a remarkable prediction given that Bitcoin has lost more than half its value in recent month and is sitting about about $30,000.
“Give it about a year and a half and retailers will all be on Opennode [a bitcoin payment processor], so everybody will accept bitcoin,” Draper predicts.
Elon Musk is also bullish, but he doesn’t want to spend his coins until they don’t use the power hungry methods to resolve transactions. it’s not easy being green.
I’m thinking $250K is a bit optimistic. I’m thinking eventually all of this will collapse.
But right now is not the time.
