It is a sleek and beautiful, this new moon rocket from NASA.

NAASA is conductying the rollout of the towering Space Launch System (SLS) rocket with its Orion crew capsule perched on top.

It is 32 stories tall and weighs about 5000 tons (not million tons as the article says…).

This rollout is in preparation for the Artemis I mission to circle the moon and come back. The SLS-Orion constitutes the backbone of the Artemis program, aimed at returning astronauts to the moon and establishing a long-term lunar colony as a precursor to eventual human exploration of Mars.

The project is scheduled to land on the moon sometime in 2025.
