You may have heard various rumors through the years, and in fact most of them are not true.
But it has just been uncovered that they CIA has been gathering bulk data on Americans. That means as much detail as is publicly available and in non-public government databases.
This is NOT the CIA’s charter, they have no law enforcement role (that is the FBI’s job). And the CIA’s charter says OUTSIDE of the U.S.
The only reason I can think of why head would not roll on this, is that is becomes an easy way to get leverage by scumbag public officials. That is my own conspiracy theory on the matter. But seriously, heads should be rolling.
