These embryos were frozen 30 years ago. This is the longest that any embryo has been stored and resulted in a live birth.

““There is something mind-boggling about it,” Philip Ridgeway said as he and his wife cradled their newborns in their laps at their home outside Portland, Oregon. “I was 5 years old when God gave life to Lydia and Timothy, and he’s been preserving that life ever since.”

These parents already have 4 children, but want “as many as God wants to give them.” So when they heard about embryo “adoption” they decided they would do it, and they asked for the embryos that no one else wanted.

I hope they don’t turn out like Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger (If you don’t get that, it’s a movie, look it up).
