Elon Musk knows that most of the Twitter employers are bleeding heart, woke liberals who hate his guts.
Would it surprise you if some of these pampered but bitter employees decided to rebel and sabotage the source code for Twitter? Elon Musk could conceivably find himself with a $44 Billion pile of hardware with no software and a deleted customer list. And he could find himself the victim of blackmail and much more.
So Musk has locked out all of the Twitter engineers from their systems and brought in Tesla systems engineers to inspect the code, make backups and ensure that Twitter will continue to be a viable entity.
It is still possible that Twitter will suffer attacks from inside. But Musk is taking every precaution.

Twitter is protecting its source code from disgruntled employees, reports say
I was wondering when Mr. Musk would do this. From both a technical and a business standpoint, it makes a lot of sense. I’ve worked with a couple of companies that went through a buyout where the employees of the bought company were not happy. The first thing that happened was most of management and most of IT were let go. Why? Because, if they were disgruntled, they could do the most damage.
I’ve been in those situations too, albeit at a much smaller scale. The fear of sabotage or blackmail is justified.
