This is the first diving suit from the 18th century.

The ‘Old Gentleman of Raahe’-one of the oldest surviving diving suits in the world, made in the early 18th century out of calf skin. The suit was donated to the Raahe Museum (Oulu, Finland) by Captain Johan Leufstadius (1829-1906).

I’m not sure I would want to dive with this, it doesn’t look overly well constructed.

And the eye holes are crooked.
