Over 130,000 people in Hungary gathered to protest the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“An estimated 130,000 Hungarians participated in the Peace March (Békemenet) today. The main message was “No to war”. Orban gave a speech as well.

“Central Europe is a chessboard for the great powers and Hungary is just a pawn. If we are not strong enough we’re sacrificed. Some countries want to reach their goals by war but we know the best war is a war we avoid.

We must stay out of this war, we can’t win anything but we can lose everything. We won’t send soldiers or weapons to Ukraine.” – Orban
