Well, they are certainly trying. Joss Whedon created some of the most outstanding, inventive and successful TV shows and movies in history including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse and was the direct of movies Avengers and The Age of Ultron.

But apparently Gal Gadot accuses Whedon of threatening her (seems more like she doesn’t understand English that well). Ray Fisher, a black actor in one of his movies is accusing him of racism. And Joss is admitting having affairs with the actresses on Buffy, and admits that he can be not the nicest guy. (Does somebody know who he had affairs with on Buffy? Nobody’s talking…).

About the affairs – “I’m not actually joking,” he said. He had been surrounded by beautiful young women — the sort of women who had ignored him when he was younger — and he feared if he didn’t have sex with them, he would “always regret it.”

And I agree with this, and don’t blame him a bit. But now Whedon says now he feels “shock and horror.” He has to say this so he doesn’t end up sharing a cell with Harvey Weinstein.

The Vulture piece is comprehensive and begins by trying to be thoughtful, but it is pretty much a hit piece as you read through it. Leave it up to us and the Huffington Post to just pull out the bad stuff.
